This morning it was announced that Ricardo Ratliffe was again named Player of the Week on January 2 for round 20 in the KBL.  Ratliffe racked up yet another double-double scoring 27 points and snatching 16 rebounds in a close win against the Dongbu Promy to keep them in second place in the South Korean KBL.

This is the fourth time that Ratliffe has received this honor after being named Player of Week in Round 10, 14 and 15.  The Mobis are now 19-8 record going into their next game on Jan 4 against the LG Sakers.

Ricardo has improved his scoring contribution and is now averaging 14.6 points a game along with 8.6 rebounds a contest.  Ratliffe has also stayed consistent in his shooting as he is connecting on 60% of his field goals.

"The season has been going well and we are growing as a team. Every time out me and the team are trying to do everything we can to make sure that the Mobis fans are satified. The personal accolades are just icing on the cake."

Ricardo Ratliffe has again received Player of the Week honors for Round 14 of the Korean Basketball league for the week of November 27th. Ratliffe scored 21 points and racked up 18 rebounds in a win against the Anyang KGC putting his team in sole possession of first place.

Ratliffe first obtained this honor in Round 10 showcasing a 26 point and 9 rebound performance defeating the Dongbu Promy keeping his team in 3rd place in the Korean Basketball League the week of November 12.

Ratliffe is now averaging 12.8 points a game while being 7th in the league in rebounding grabbing 8.4 per contest and shooting 58% from the field.

Ratliffe said about his second Player of the Week honor “I am happy to be making a meaningful contribution to my team and look forward to us continuing to play together and win together.”

Ricardo Ratliffe was once again named Player of the Week by the Korean Basketball league for the 15th Round of the Season. Ratliffe put together his best scoring output since joining the Mobis Phoebus as he scored a career-high 35 points while grabbing seven rebounds and two assist in a 79-78 loss to the Anyang KGC.

This has been the third time this season that Ratliffe has tallied being named Player of the Week receiving the honor in round 10 and 14 in the KBL season. As the season has progressed, Ratliffe has began to emerge as one of the top players with his scoring and rebounding shooting 60% from the field and averaging seven rebound a contest.

The Mobis Phoebus team is tied for first place in a very long KBL season. Ratliffe and the Phoebus will return to action in round 17 as they take on the Goyang Orions on December 18, 2012.

Ratliffe provided his best performance since being a member of the Mobis scoring 26 points and grabbing 9 rebounds to keep his team in a steady 3rd place in the league.

Ratliffe is averaging a little over 10 points a game while being sixth best rebounder in the league averaging 7.8 a contest while shooting 56.6% from the field.

Ratliffe spoke about him being names Player of the Week for the first time. ”I’m finally getting accustomed to the league so my performance is beginning to improve. I just have to keep working to help our team win games.”
